ABKJ provided sub consultant BIM/VDC services to Korsmo Construction in the modelling of this new 50,400 square foot building which classrooms, multipurpose room, and offices. ABKJ provided capacity to the existing contractors team modelling concrete footings and walls, anchorages, hardware, and structural wall and roof wood framing members. Our team had to coordinate between Architecture and Engineering documentation to model and produce shop drawings for framing trade to reference during assembling elements. Tasks also included performing clash detections incorporating as built information involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing information. ABKJ was able to assist the contractor in meeting budget and scheduling targets ensuring the project is delivered on time without delays.
