Design for a new 3,800 square foot home in the neighbourhood of Bryant. Planning is driven by Universal Design Principals and strives to achieve ADA compliance, offering a care giving environment for the Owner’s elderly parents. A contemporary palette of materials and sweeping roof lines define the overall aesthetic appeal. The Great Room is treated as a distinct pavilion oriented south for maximum daylight and passive heating goals, as wells as provides for a highly flexible space for entertaining and wheelchair circulation. Primary spaces are distributed on three levels with access to exterior spaces on each and regional and neighbourhood views.
