Sanjay Soli is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ABKJ Architects and Engineers, a global A/E firm headquartered in Seattle, with a portal in Bangalore, India. He leads the architectural group in close unison with the engineering departments to maintain a cohesive interdisciplinary team on various types of buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects for private and public entities. Sanjay is well recognized for his sensibility in designing complex projects with close connections to context. His formal working process, commitment to client goals, and architectural style translates into visually appealing projects that reinforce the importance of interior and exterior environments with iconic imagery. With Sanjay’s quick abilities in conceptualization and defining architectural vocabularies, he participates as a design consultant for other design firms based in Seattle and abroad. Sanjay specializes in medical facilities, mixed-use developments, multi family and single-family residences, and commercial/office interiors.
Sanjay also pursues international projects, providing architectural and engineering services to existing and new clients in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America. He also extends his passions for architecture to relatively smaller scale projects that focus on designing wellness and care giving environments in residential settings. Within ABKJ, Sanjay has developed a vertical that offers design build services for residential clients seeking unique architecture with attention to detail, materials palette, and implementation Universal Design Principles. The design build services streamlines design intent immediately to the construction site allowing for a seamless process providing construction advisory and management in partnership with the Client. His work has been featured in various publications along the west coast and he has participated at various speaking events and forums that focus on residential wellness environments. He combines his experiences as an architect, project manager, and contractor with his current ABKJ duties to deliver complete design services and project management delivery approaches that meet client objectives and visions. He is a registered architect in the States of Washington and Oregon, and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

After a successful career as a Project Manager and Principal at ABKJ, Greg is appointed for Vice President in US Global Center and Director in ABKJ Asia Global Center. He provides engineering leadership from concept to construction administration and manages the team in ABKJ Infrastructure & Design Solutions, Bangalore, India. Greg has developed ABKJ’s expert value engineering service, delivering clients well-researched and formulated engineering alternatives to make informed decisions pertaining to cost control and schedule management.Greg earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees at the University of Washington, where his thesis concerned the seismic analysis of steel structures. His design experience includes structural steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete structures.

Yangchen has joined ABKJ in year 2011 and she is a core member in establishing ABKJ Asia Global Center in Bangalore, India. She reports to Chairman & CEO based in ABKJ headquarter office in Seattle, US. As a Director of Operations, Yangchen is leading & overseeing an overall business operation in India which includes business development, operations, human resources management, financials and all related interest of a company. She ensures all designated professionals & disciplines are functioning at the highest standard of professionalism as per company’s policy and in meeting ABKJ objectives.
Yangchen started her career at ABKJ as HR & Client Relations Manager, based on her good consistency in performance, she was promoted to Operations Manager and now holding Director of Operations since early 2013. Her greatest strength includes networking with people and her ability in fostering relationship with people. She ensures the highest level of service, performance, and professionalism is delivered to our clients. Yangchen strives to recruit the best talent and focused to maintain diverse professional work environment.
Yangchen academic background includes Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management equivalent to Master in Business Administration (MBA), Specialized in Human Resources Management (HRM), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Certification in legal literacy by the National Law School of India (NLSU) and Certification in Economics Honors.

With more than 40 years at ABKJ, Soli has had in a hand in most of the firm’s landmark structures. After earning his Master’s degree from the University of Washington, he started his career here as a design engineer. Over the past four decades, Soli has worked in project management, quality assurance, and business development, having established many international client relationships to build our foreign market. As an engineer, he has provided design expertise for high-rise facilities, residential housing and hotels, office towers, medical facilities, laboratories, and renovation projects, many of which have been award-winning.
