The proposed structure is an existing building which was formerly called the opera house, located on brigade road, Bangalore, India. The Building would serve as a retail outlet for Samsung and ABKJ was hired as the structural consultant to recommend the necessary retrofitting which was needed to be done to facilitate the new architectural design for this building. The items ABKJ was involved with included the design of a new elevator core within the building, design of two steel staircases which were added, design review of the existing truss system to handle the loads of the new chandeliers, design of the exterior hoardings as well as the design of the necessary retaining walls and planter boxes for the new landscaping design.
